It's uncertain of how bad the wound is, but he pulls through and wakes from a long sleep. The flute solo represents the people's love for the swordmaker. Many come to check on him and return the help that he has given them for so long. This motive grows into a middle fanfare representing the swordmaker's honor. He is well enough to stand up for the people again and has chosen to do so. This moment feels religious as they are putting their faith back into him for protection, in hopes for a better day. The ending fanfare swells as the people return their love and appreciation to them.
