An Aire , Ballad, Lament or Lullaby is a slow song that can generally be played by an instrument, group of instruments with or without accompaniment. These slow songs can also include singers but the distinction is with accompaniment. Unaccompanied slow songs with singers only are known as "Sean Nos". This is a great contrast tune for festival, contest , assessment or concert.
